A solid spot for cheap eats, especially if you want to avoid the line at Saigon Sandwich. I was craving banh mi, so I decided to pick one up here for the first time. I tried the Special Combination Banh Mi, and at $7, it was a cheap and delicious meal. The pickled veggies add a refreshing sweet and sour acidity to the pork and pate. The baguette is crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and didn't get soggy at all. One sandwich is definitely sufficient for a meal. The area can be a bit sketchy, but I didn't run into any issues. Can't wait to come back and try another sandwich!

Food - was craving a banh mi and finally tried this place after seeing it recommended on reddit! I got the combo banh mi without jalepenos. I'd say the banh mi was OK good. it was still very crispy after more than 15 mins (I walked home after ordering) and decent portion of meat. Not enough pate I'd say and the pickled veggies weren't pickled enough. Otherwise, OK decent for $7. Better than saigon sandwich though imo. Service - super quick and easy. Ordered at the front, waited probably less than 5 minutes and it was ready to go. Ambiance - obviously not in the best part of town, but the streets today (7.31.24) seemed rather clean, at least much cleaner than it was a few months ago when I walked by in the area. Just tread with caution and go early. Lots of people walking around.

Discovered this place after seeing a long line after saigon sandwich. This place makes more of a traditional style banh mi. Ive tried their combo, meatball, bbq and prefer it all over saigon sandwich. Both places are good but i find this place more tastier. Bread is softer here if thats what you like.

Please try this spot!!! The staff is so welcoming and sweet, had some very friendly conversations with them. The space isn't suited for dine in however. The food is very fresh regardless and amazing!!! The banh mi is admittedly just okay, nothing special, but the bún bò Huế is so flavorful- spicy and sour. They do not skimp on meat portions!! Would come here all the time if I lived in the area
